Erica L. Mann

Erica Mann is the inaugural President, Pfizer Nutrition, a new business unit at Pfizer, and a Member of the Pfizer Senior Management Team (SMT).

Pfizer Nutrition's vision is to lead the way to a healthier world by ensuring that infants and children have access to the best and highest-quality nutrition. With products available in more than 80 countries and a portfolio that includes infant formulas, follow-on formulas, growing-up milks, and prenatal and adult supplements, Pfizer aspires to be the most trusted nutritional company in the world.

Pfizer Nutrition's mission is to bring to infants and children scientifically advanced nutritional products. Through ongoing research and development of life sustaining infant formula and vitamin and nutrient-rich milk products, Pfizer is helping to improve the future outcomes of our next generation.

Erica joined Pfizer upon its acquisition of Wyeth and has over 25 years experience in the global pharmaceutical industry. At Wyeth she held two roles: Senior Vice-President, Nutrition, where she helped to establish the shape and strategic direction of the new Nutrition business; and Managing Director of Wyeth Australia & New Zealand, during which time Wyeth brought to these markets a range of significant medicines and nutritionals. Erica was named as one of Australia's "Super Leaders" in a recent book showcasing 50 of Australia's most talented and inspiring leaders.

Before coming to Australia in 2003, Erica spent a decade at the helm of Wyeth's South African and sub-Equatorial business, becoming the first woman CEO of a pharmaceutical company in South Africa.

Erica served as President of the South African Pharmaceutical Manufacturers' Association (PMA), and as a result of this work, was selected to represent the Pharmaceutical Industry in the Nelson Mandela Trade Mission to the UK in June 1996.

In Australia Erica served on the Board and the Executive of Medicines Australia, the Pharmaceutical industry's leading body, and as its Vice Chair.
